[Plugin: Wordbooker] Comment Handling is NOT working in Version 2.0x

  • It is really an old issue:
    Comment handling is NOT working! Steve promised to get it working in Version 2 one year ago, but as he just told me, it is still NOT working in version 2.06, published today.

    All we know is, that FB changes its API very often. It is not easy for developers. However, untill Wordbooker is not working realible, I would recommend to use ‘ADD LINK TO FACEBOOK’-plugin. This is working fine for the last 12 month without any problems regarding comment handling.

    Version 2 shipped out, in an emergency due to unexpected deadlines imposed by Facebook because they basically obsoleted the entire SDK Wordbooker was built on, on September 30th (Just under 7 weeks ago). I have had to concentrate on fixing the bugs that were in the code before I could turn my attention to comment handling.

    Hi Steve, really great work, the wordbooker plugin. Thank you for all your effort!!!
    However, why couldn’t you disable/grey out those options, which are not working actually? Or Put a message on the top of the settings page. This would safe a lot of time to your potential clients/customers.

    Hi Steve, thank you for the plugin.

    I installed 2.0.9 and it works great except for the Comments import feature. Do you know when you will have time to implement that? Love the plugin. Thank you.
