• I installed and activated WATS through the plugin “Add New” area and after activation, the entire admin area was left blank. I had to delete the WATS directory and files via FTP to get the admin area back.

**Edit – Any ideas what could cause this? – Edit**

I’ve isolated this issue to a plugin conflict between the WATS and the Gravity Forms plugins. I am running version 1.3.11 of Gravity Forms (developers license) and version 1.0.50 of the WATS plugin.

I will be posting this on the GF forums as well. Hopefully it’s an easy fix for either developer. (fingers crossed)

p.s. I haven’t used this WATS plugin yet, but it looks pretty full-featured. My congrats to the author:)

  • Hi Awarner,

There are few reasons why you could get a blank page. The first ones I would think about would be the following :
    1/ You aren’t using php5 but php4. I would suggest you to try php5, this may help…
2/ You have set your admin account as the shared guest user in WATS. Check out your mysql DB, remove the wats option entry in the wp_options table and reactivate the plugin. This will reset the options and may fix the problem.

I don’t know the gravity forms plugin so I can’t test interworking with it but I would be happy to troubleshoot the issue on your site if you think the problem comes from WATS. You can contact me through my blog contact form.

    Hi firebird75,

Thanks for the reply. I am running php 5.2.5. I’ve never changed anything with my admin account as it relates to WATS. I did see an entry in the wp_options table and deleted it, then tried reactivating the plugin with the same result.

I’m heading over to your contact form…:)

    Hi Awarner,

I have received your mail and replied to it.

I’m a user of Gravity Forms, too and running into the same problem with WATS. Were you able to find a solution.

Gravityforms.com and gravityhelp.com apppear to be down right now, so I haven’t been able to search for a solution over there.

Yes I have coded a fix which will be available in the next release to be delivered in the next few days.
