This might be a one off error connecting to Dropbox.

Please try the settings again and let me know if it happens again.

    Cheers,
    Mikey

I have had the same issue for months and have been waiting for an update to fix it…

Do you have OpenSSL installed on your server?

My hosting provider does not appear to say either way. Would it be unusual not to have it?

The plugin used to work about 3 – 4 months ago.

Id say that is the issue. A few months ago Dropbox made it mandatory for all Apps to use a SSL (HTTPS) connection to the API.

You need to ensure you have an SSL transport in the Registered Stream Socket Transports list in your php info.

    The most popular is OpenSSL.

Michael – I’m experiencing the same error as described above. Can you provide instructions on how to register SSL? My site is hosted by Yahoo Small Business and they say they are SSL capable. I’m not sure how or where the code needs to go on my site.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Brian
