My mistake. I see the db copy in the backup folder on Dropbox.

I have the same problem and would like some advice. First time everything was backed up including sql-dump. Now the site is backed up OK and a fresh sql-dump is made locally but the sql file on dropbox has never changed since first time.

Actually, I just noticed that my SQL file — local and on Dropbox — hasn’t been updated since my first WP-Backup-to-Dropbox backup, on 27 Feb. I have backup set to once a day, and I’ve been working on the site everyday, adding new posts, etc. Checking files at random, I see today’s date for backed-up files that I know are new or have changed. But the SQL file remains dated at 27 Feb, both in wp-content/backups/ and in my Dropbox.

I’m happy to help with further diagnostics, as possible.

    Best!

My SQL is also not showing a current date. Mine shows 9/1/2011 – and I have been running the plug-in backup for the last four-five days now.

In fact, looking at ALL my files in my DB folder, which only appeared after I installed the plug-in, they are ALL 9/1/11. So my backup is not really happening.

I noticed on your website animation at the top that there is a settings panel – but it’s not showing up in my settings in my wp-admin dashboard. something’s a-muck here.
