  • Same here, following error-message:

PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘”‘ in /var/customers/webs/path/to/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/download-monitor/download.php

My commits got screwed up by github, just fixed it up

    3.3.5.6 solved it for me.

    Thanks

We get the blank popup using wp 3.4 and dm 3.3.5.7
    Thanks for any help.

I’d like to chime in and say that I’m also having the same issue. Blank popup when using WP 3.4 and DM 3.3.5.7 (same as amigoaldo).

Same problem for me using WP 3.4.1 and DM 3.3.5.7

If you want to get a try, I made a fork on github that solves the problem (it also solves the “empty files explorer” problem).

I hope mikejolley will incorporate these changes in his plugin (and improve them).

    Thanks ScreenfeedFr, now′s working again!

Screenfeed you are genius and a lifesaver. I’m glad someone took the bull by the horns and resolved this once and for all.

For all those who are intimidated by what you see when you get to
https://github.com/Screenfeed/download-monitor don’t be. As I’m not a pro coder it took me a little while to understand how github works but it’s not so difficult.
Just click on any of the links that say “Blank FileTree Fix once for all, blank Downloads popup fix”. You will be taken to a page that shows a whole bunch of code with lines of pink and light green highlights. This is not the code you need this is just the way Screenfeed showed the changes he made to the code for other coders to see. THIS IS NOT THE CODE YOU WANT! If you look carefully you will see that Screenfeed has made changes to 6 files. At the top of each file there is a “View file @ xxxxxxx” button. Click the button and you will be taken to the final version of the code for each file. THIS IS THE CODE YOU WANT! Copy the code for each of the 6 files, and paste over the code in each of the 6 plugin files on your server.

    Voila! Everything works.

    Thanks Screenfeed ??

… or just click on the “ZIP” button (top of the window) to download the whole plugin at once ^^
(my code editor automatically removes the spaces at the end of the lines, so the changes we can see are not all relevant)

    Thx miyakojimadan.

@ Screenfeed: I didn’t realize that the zip file included the plugin WITH all the changes. That would be much easier than editing each file separately. Nice one ??
