[Plugin: WordPress Download Monitor] Not counting downloads

There is a number in parentheses (0) next to the name of the file to be downloaded, which I assume is the number of downloads. The file is a PDF which I assume would be counted as a download after being opened. The number has not changed. Additionally, I tried turning off Log Downloads in Configuration, but (0) is still being displayed. I am using the short code [download id=”1″].
