[Plugin: WordPress Download Monitor] When right-clicking and ‘save as’, visitors prompted to save do
-
Afternoon,
When you right-click and select ‘Save As’ to download a file using Download Monitor, the file name always seems to be download.php instead of the mp3 file it’s linked to. The workaround seems to let the file finish downloading and then just rename it to whatever it should be but also change the file type at the end from .php to .mp3 and it will play in any media player, no problem. How can you get it to save as the file it’s linked to?
For an example post with a download link, see here. Thanks in advance. Not sure if it makes any difference but I’m using the legacy tags to display the download image and link – am wondering whether I’ll need to amend the 150+ posts at some point… *gulp!*
