[Plugin: WordPress eCommerce – MarketPress Lite] use as a directory listing?

can anyone provide me with an example of a site running this as a directory listing? How good is it for this? Would i be better off using custom content types for a directory listing?

the directory would be broken down by US state and city and display business related data.
