[Plugin: WordPress eCommerce – MarketPress] Possible to make new products act like posts?

  • Hey, I use the Arras theme, and I was hoping to be able to make products, and have the products featured in the main panel of the theme, or more or less be treated like posts. That way I can have a fancier looking UI, and when people want to purchase something, they can click on those and still go to a page where they can buy the product.

    Or is there a way to make it so when I make a custom menu, and customers click on the “products” button (which i’d have load the page using the products category) and have that page use the main page of the arras theme? instead of just a series of quickposts.

    I hope I wrote this well enough for someone to understand and to be able to help me out.

    Fortunately, the Arras theme already has you covered there with full custom post type and taxonomy support in the latest version.

    All you need to do is select the ‘Product’ custom post type from your options at Arras > Post type & Tax. page.

    The Arras theme developer couldn’t have made it easier. Good stuff! ??
