[Plugin WordPress Event Calendar] Can’t create events

Just installed the WP Event Calendar plugin.
I get to the Create Event screen. I can enter information into the fields. But when I publish the event it doesn’t show in the event listing on the admin page.
Seems like a nice plugin.
