• I have run into the following two problems:

    1. None of the notification emails are being sent and I cannot find any directions as to how these should be set up to work.

    2. When filling out the form on Internet Explorer 9 and clicking on submit the information is not submitted and the page refreshes with the filled out information with the only difference being a change in the reCaptcha words.

Can anyone help me with this? We really like the look of this form and would like to keep it if at all possible, but if we can’t get it to work then we will have to re-think what to use.

    Thanks,

    Ang

    Try these things:

    1. Make sure you are using the latest version, this was a bug I thought I had fixed before (the IE9 problem)

    2. Try changing the e-mail method, go to Forms > Advanced Settings > E-Mail > Send method, and change it to ‘PHP (mail)’. Of course if you are having the problem with submitting the information, e-mails won’t be sent out in that case either.

    3. Make sure everything works without the reCaptcha.

    4. Disable other plugins, until your form works. Then you have found a conflict, so let me know which plugin it is and I’ll try to fix it.

Also if you post a link to the form I might be able to figure out what is wrong by looking at the generated code.

The form that I am having problems with is on the following page:

    https://raisingcanine.com/resources/ceus/

I was sent a link to a video showing the individual having a problem with the form using IE 9. That link is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cbW-eSlWjkY

I have the email setting to be php as well.

Try going to Forms > Advanced Settings > E-Mail and change the send method to ‘PHP’. If that doesn’t work try using the ‘advanced’ e-mail.

Oops, I answered the wrong question – ignore that! I’m still trying to figure out your problem, angdlov.

I’m experiencing this problem on my sites (only with IE 9).

    and
    https://so-media.lasalle.edu/commencement

In addition to FM, I am running the following plugin that might be the cuplrit, but my sites rely heavily on that plugin as well as FM, so I haven’t been able to test with the plugin turned off:
WP UI – Tabs, accordions and more.

The first site send email via SMTP (due to our school’s IT security recommendations) and the second site is at the default email setting (but is slated to be set up with SMTP). Due to this, I don’t think I have the option to try changing the advanced email settings.

Is there anything else I can try

I found a solution. The problem was a conflict with the WP UI tab plugin I mentioned above. In case anyone else has this problem, I followed the directions in regards to implementing the HTML formatting instead of the shortcodes for the WP UI tab plugin:

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/plugin-wp-ui-tabs-accordions-sliders-wp-ui-with-contact-form-7-shortcodes-inside-the-contact-form

This was only happening in IE 9
