As long as you have a Google Docs account then yes, it should work for you on your WordPress site. The process to use this plugin with your WordPress site is:

• Create your Google Docs Form. Each form has a corresponding Google Docs spreadsheet to collect data. Once created it will have a URL that you can use to enter data and submit the form. You will need this URL to use the plugin.
• Install and activate the plugin. Follow the directions on the Install tab for the plugin page.
• Create a post or page with the gform short code per the instructions.
• Start collecting data. You can look at your data in Google Docs on the spreadsheet. There are several plugins that can display the contents of a Google Spreadsheet in a WordPress post or page, I like the Inline Google Spreadsheet Viewer plugin.

Hope this helps.

My form keeps returning an error that it cannot be retrieved. “Unable to retrieve Google Form.”

My site is https://www.dfwtcah.com and the form works independently.

I have this in a page [gform form='<https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?hl=en_US&formkey=dDFmNlNreVE4TGZVYjNDUWExMlczekE6MQ#gid=0>’ legal=’on’ br=’on’]

There seems to be a couple problems:

• The URL isn’t formed correctly. The < and > characters should not appear in the URL.
• However, if I take the bad characters out and just trying the URL directly I get the following error:
Sorry…
The form at this URL could not be found. Make sure that you have the right URL and that the owner hasn’t deleted it.

You may want to double check your URL after removing the bad characters.

Geez I feel like an idiot. I took out the <> and it works fine. Sorry to waste your time, and thank you for replying. ??

If you ran into an issue dealing with required fields on your Google Form, v0.10 addresses that problem.
