[Plugin: WordPress Guest Post Plugin] Working On Captcha Fix

Hi everyone. I typically respond to all support personally sent to me via my contact form on my site. Forgive me for the tardiness of this response.

Most people were having captcha issues because of a “permissions” problem which I have now addressed in the installation directions for the plugin.

The key is having your permissions set to “775” or “777”.

I have tried everything here and nothing seems to work.
@heydluv, I didn’t get what you mean by “<object data=””> is missing”.
Please I really need this plugin to work for me. I’d appreciate any help.

I have the 2.7 version plugin with the correct permissions and the captcha issues a “The security code entered was incorrect.” each time I enter the correct Security Code.

Are other people also finding this?

Did anyone get an answer to this captcha problem?

My permissions are set ok. I’ve checked for occurrences of (plugins/wordpressguestpost/) and I’ve reinstalled Securimage PHP as per heydluvs post and still nothing.

I got it to work in version 2.5, but then I couldn’t approve any posts. When I moved to 2.7 I can’t get the captcha working.

I’ve emailed Lisa as well.
