  • Hello, i have the same problem and looking for a solution. Thanks in advanced.

Same problem for me as well – followed fix offered below – but with no success.

I can’t get into my admin panel after updating. How do I fix it?
Go to /wp-content/plugins/wordpress-https/wordpress-https.php and uncomment (remove the two forward slashes before) the line below, or go to your wp-config.php file and add this line. Hit any page on your site, and then remove it or comment it out again.

    define(‘WPHTTPS_RESET’, true);

I have the same blank screen problem when trying to edit any posts or pages. My background also disappeared after updating.

    Thanks!

Last time I updated this plugin I was also locked out of my admin panel. I don’t want to update this plugin anymore since everytime I do it breaks my site! Time to look for another alternative I think…

White pages are generally syntax errors or memory issues. What version of PHP are you using? Have you checked your Apache error logs?

I have the same issue. Went back to 3.04 and all is well. This is not a PHP or apache issue…it’s called a bug.

Well, the plugin works completely fine for a lot of people, so I disagree with you. Either way, I can’t do anything without some kind of error report.

i updated to 3.1 this morning and i am too having random blank screens only via the admin on random pages. most pages are fine where as one page gives me the blank. another theme option page also gives me a blank. is there anywhere to download the previous version until this bug is fixed? i have no error messages to give you because there none that get outputted. i am on wordpress 3.4.0.

i get a blank page when going to media library, i de-activated the plugin and everything is fine, any thoughts?

Me too as soon as I deactivate the plugin everything is fine.

i reverted to 3.0.4 and everything is fine

I have the same problem (Error 500 with Nginx). PHP-FPM currently has a bug, which causes that no PHP errors are logged. But I could get some information with apache.
    Here is the log:

[Mon Jul 09 22:43:11 2012] [error] [client xxx] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function getScheme() on a non-object in /var/www/blog/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-https/lib/WordPressHTTPS/Module/Parser.php on line 95
[Mon Jul 09 22:43:11 2012] [error] [client xxx] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /var/www/blog/wp-includes/cache.php on line 113

The second error is obviously caused by the first error.

I gave up, too. Reloaded old version – found a download link to 3.0.4 @ https://download.famouswhy.com/wordpress_https/

I also have the same problem upgrading from 3.0.4 to 3.1. I reverted back to 3.0.4 and was able to get my admin panel screen back.

Reverted.. thanks for the link thickchick.
