I have a site running at:

ccfaa.com that is using WP E-commerce and the Gold Cart. I’ve been wracking my brain trying to get the HTTPS working.

Right now I am running WordPress HTTPS 1.8.1 and WP 3.0.1. Everytime I try to ‘force SSL’ on the shop or checkout page I keep getting a ‘too many redirects error’.

In the HTTPS settings I have the internal and external HTTPS selected as well as the Force SSL Exclusively.

In the store my pages are on ?page_id=15 for the products and ?page_id=16 for the checkout.

In the store>settings>Admin they are set to:
    https://ccfaa.com/?page_id=15

and 16 respectively. I can’t seem to get them working. I had been previously getting errors regarding portions of the page not being secure and then I saw an upgrade. I did the upgrade but now can’t seem to make any of it work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! I put the direct URLs in here because I’m going to have them take the links to the online sales off the site so users don’t get an error.

Thank you so much in advance!

    Best,
    Darlene

Okay… I figured out the issue with the redirects. It had to do with the URL structure. I’ve fixed that, but now need to determine which elements of the page are appearing as ‘unsecure’ so that the whole page is secure. Getting closer…

Thanks for the other column about the Google Chrome developer apps – that’s been helping isolate the ‘where’.

Okay… think I got it fixed now. Found the culprits in the files and think I have it resolved!

I had the site going to ccfaa.com but the secure cert was https://www.ccfaa.com – so i reset the site to https://www.ccfaa.com in the WP settings and that fixed that.

There were a few files hard coded to go to ccfaa.com – not sure why. I changed this and – et voila – it works.

The Google Developer tool totally rocks!
