Hi, I’m trying to migrate a blog from a blog that’s hosted on WordPress.com to one that’s hosted on my hosting provider / domain. I have wordpress 3.0.5 installed. The box is running PHP5 = modphp. I installed the importer. I exported the old blog to an XML file (around 600kb). When I try to run the importer on the new site, I get the following error:

Sorry, there has been an error.
The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/users/r/rkangas/public_html/blog/wp-content/uploads.

I have shell access to this location. I tried chmod’ing the uploads dir to 777 even, and I still get the error. Any ideas?
