[Plugin: WordPress MU Sitewide Tags Pages] How do you exclude certain posts from Main blog?

There isn’t anything in SWT to automatically do that.

I’ve seen some threads mention “pulling” posts from the tags blog to the main blog. How do you selectively pull posts?

. . . or does this thread contain the solution I’m looking for? (i.e. selectively exclude certain posts from Main blog?

I got the “in SWT to automatically” part. However, I didn’t limit my question to “in SWT to automatically.” It appears that I failed, however, to include the link to “this thread.” Does that touch on a way to filter out certain posts from the main blog?

Could something like your post here be used with some additional code to exclude posts of a certain category or tag from main blog?

You answered:

Yes, you can do that. Near the bottom of SWT there is a filter for the page post type. Use that example and build your own similar filter to specify which post type(s) you want SWT to process.

For a Non-Dev, can you expand on that? Basically, I’d like to be able selectively opt out or opt in (doesn’t really matter which) posts to go to the main, perhaps using a type, category, tag, or whatever. Based on your responses to other queries, its seems like this is possible? (and maybe a future built-in feature)?

RESOLVED via work around. Actually, I see that I can use Plugin/widget to screen out certain categories. (now if I can get SWT to respect the widget thumbnail size settings)

Post TYPE – ie. page is a post type, post is a post type, attachment is a post type.
