• Am running WP 2.7 and just updated NAVT to 1.0.28, now I cant find navt in the tools menu, ive tried installing and reinstalling it with all the plugins turned on and off, tried clearing browser cache etc, all to no avail, I simpy cannot find navt anywhere, so cannot creat menus etc.

This has the potential to be a fantastic plugin, but its very unreliable, and buggy. Sometimes the nav lists, get jumbled, or go missing or refuse to work at all. You also cannot backup or restore the navt lists, so if something goes wrong I have to manually relist the 200 pages, which takes hrs and hrs. Its brought me close to tears, having to redo everything over and over.

I use it to manage in excess of 200 pages and cant find any alternative plugin.

Do hope someone can offer some insight or suggest another alternative plugin, I cannot find one that helps wordpress become a CMS system like this one.

Id pay $100 for a reliable working version of NAVT.

    David

i went into ftp and changed the navt plugin file permissions to 777 from 755 and now i can see navt in the menu and it shows up on the site.

its still terribly buggy though, pages going missing, losing proper names, jumbling up etc etc.

Its so close to being the perfect plugin but is just unreliable at present. Normally the bugs and errors start happening when you edit a page, i.e. it will change name in the list or go missing altogether.

Thanks for that hint – I was a bit perplexed about that. Even directly trying to go to the URL didn’t work. Just a blank page.

I haven’t used it since that’s been sorted out, but am somewhat worried.
