[Plugin: WordPress Popular Posts] Are Thumbnails on Posts Working?

  • I am interested in using this plugin and wanted to know if thumbnails on the posts are working properly. I read the Important Notice on the description page of this plugin regarding the security issues and it sounded like the thumbnail feature was disabled from the plugin.

    1. Are thumbnails working properly?

    2. How are the thumbnails created/generated? Is it from the Post Thumbnails feature?

    Yes. WordPress Popular Posts is currently using the Post Thumbnail feature to retrieve your posts’ thumbnail.

    Previous versions of my plugin used the TimThumb script to create the images but due to a security bug it had I decided to have it removed from my plugin. So no worries, you can use my plugin and be sure that your site is safe.
