[Plugin: WordPress Popular Posts] showing post count

Put an <?php echo 'post id is '.$post->ID; ?> in your template to make sure there is a post id.

That should be inside The Loop for it to work, otherwise it won’t since $post->ID is not defined.

For example:

<?php if ( have_posts() ) : while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>
<?php wpp_get_views($post->ID); ?>

… rest of code here …

<?php endwhile; else: ?>
<p><?php _e(‘Sorry, no posts matched your criteria.’); ?></p>
<?php endif; ?>
