  • Hi there,

You did check the Show thumbnail option, right?

ha yep. my first reaction was ‘ofcourse i did’ and then doubt crept in like ‘or did I?’

but yes the show thumbnail option is selected and if you look at the preview of the code there are no calls for a thumbnail. The whole reason i wanted to use html markup was to fix a problem i had with image thumbnails not working for some posts.

i have a few posts without an image in the content specifically but the template i created does have an image that relates to the post. as such is there a way that the plugin can search the entire page/post for an image not just content and/or have a class or custom field (better) to denote ‘use this image for thumbnail’.

    thanks in advance

I’ll check into that, it should automatically insert an image if found on the post.

By the way, your ‘use this image for thumbnail’ idea sounds good! I mgith try to implement this soon, that way people won’t need to create a custom field to insert their custom thumbnail.
