[Plugin: WordPress Popular Posts] Titles Displaying HTML Tags

I know this has been discussed in several different posts, the solution that I’ve seen to replace code on line 132 seems to be outdated since the file I have doesn’t have any code on that line. All of the titles show the html tag instead of the special character (< em > instead of italics). Has anyone figured this out?
