[Plugin: WordPress Portfolio Plugin (WP Portfolio)] This plugin ROCKS!!!

I am converting my site from Joomla to WordPress, and the thing holding me back from completing my site conversion was needing to find a portfolio plugin as nice as the one I have used in Joomla..

I was pulling my hair out trying to get another portfolio plugin to work. I was ready to use a testimonial plugin to “make” a portfolio for myself. (not my ideal solution, but it would have worked..) Frustrated, I decided to do a search one more time for something else, and found this plugin..

I don’t know how I missed this plugin.. and now that I’ve got it all dialed in I don’t know how I’ll live without it!!! ?? Once I got my CSS, template and the right shortcode all dialed in I was styling..

Now I did have a few strange tweaky issues with two of the sites in my portfolio displaying the description “slightly off” (added a line break or top page margin — strange) I deleted these two from the portfolio and re-added them and the problem is all gone — weird.. The only other “quirk” I discovered is that I need to add the shortcode using the “source/text” editor or the quotations get replaced by their ASCII/HTML counterparts.. NONE of this is MAJOR isn anyway, and I am HOOKED!!! All of the features are perfect, but these three features in particular were what had me smiling:

• Custom Thumbnails to override screenshots
• Ordering of Websites within a portfolio
• Paging support (websites over several pages)

Anyway.. Just wanted to say I am over the moon happy.. This was the very last piece I needed to pull the trigger on finalizing my Joomla to WordPress conversion!! Big thanks to Dan Harrison for this awesome plugin!!!
