[Plugin: WordPress SEO] Breadcrumbs Title Template (Feature?)

  • Hello Yoast,

    Since WordPress SEO has both Title Template & Breadcrumb functionality, how about a Title Template that utilizes the Breadcrumbs?

    I work extensively with sites that are mostly page hierarchical. For those, it makes sense that the page Title tags follow the page hierarchy.

    e.g., in reverse order (inner to outer)

    Heated Tube Facility | Facilities | Chemical Propulsion

    or, in case that’s not clear:

    Red Delicious | Apples | Fruits | Food

    In some cases, this would save time, rather than having to add SEO titles, the deeper we go (normally only 3 or four levels deep).

  • this plugin is amazing and time saver to think but still not a ripe one to gamble,hehehe my site messed up because of this plugin so unfortunately, i will waste more time because of this

    Whether it’s wp_seo or other plugin or just the raw code to add in functions.php, I too would love to have this functionality.

    As you say, with a structured site it just seems to be an obvious tool to generate the perfect page titles.

    I noticed this plugin, but it didn’t work for me:
