[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Cannonical Settings : Force http or https (My blog is running on bo

hello guys, I’m not exactly sure how to use this setting. My blog, https://www.elie-palima.com is running on both the http and the https.

anyway, I only want to use the ‘http’ on my blog. does that mean I should choose “force http”???

I got confused because I thought when I enable this setting and choose “force http”,

I assumed it will redirect the https to the >> http

however, I found out the “https” is still accessible even if I chose “force http”

anyway, I dropped by to ask, what should I choose? http? or https? help?

also, might need some help with editing my .htaccess file.

I would like to redirec ‘https url’ to ‘http’
