[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Duplicate Content issue while using WordPress SEO with Thesis

  • WordPress version: 3.4.1
    WordPress SEO version: 1.2.5

    I did this: Using WordPress SEO plugin with Thesis theme. Under thesis options I have checked “Add canonical URLs to your site”

    Issue:
    I am not sure if the plugin is conflicting with Thesis SEO settings or not. I am using WordPress SEO fields for all meta data.
    But, recently have faced duplicate content issues like /advice and /advice/ getting indexed. I found this from Google Analytics.

    Any thoughts ?
