[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] G Webmaster says my sitemap is html

  • I have the latest version of WordPress SEO and 3.4 of WP

    When I test my sitemap in Webmaster Tools it tells me “Sitemap is HTML.” It’s the same for all 4 sitemaps (post, page, category & category-tag). The test submissions all end with the .xml extension and .xml versions are found on the website.

    I’ve reviewed the setting in WordPress SEO and xml sitemaps is checked enabled and no exclusions.
