[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Issue connecting FB app with WordPress SEO

    When I “Add Facebook Admin” and click “Log In”, I get a 404 and FB shows the app has been connected.

    If I attempt to “Use a FB page as Admin” none of my pages are there even though I click “Allow.” Selecting “Update facebook pages” does nothing but refresh the page.

    If I start over and click “Use a facebook app as admin” and then select my app, the URL linter gives me the following error:

    Object Invalid Value: Object at URL ‘https://y2kemo.com/’ of type ‘website’ is invalid because the given value ‘-2147483648’ for property ‘fb:app_id’ could not be parsed as type ‘fbid’.

    Am I missing something?

    I removed the app from FB. Cleared FB data from the plugin. Started back over. Added myself as an admin. Selected LOG IN when FB prompted. Clicked the button to add a FB page as an admin. Clicked ALLOW when FB prompted. Returned to the SEO admin page. Drop down still doesn’t show any pages that were allowed in the FB. Tried the update fb pages button. No dice.

    Should point out that “fb:admins user_id” is now in the header and is being picked up by the URL linter. Just not the FB page info.

    Same problem for me.

    Facebook Fan pages with numbers still don’t show as option.

    Using the last version. When is this fixed?

    I have the same problem. On facebook debug page I’m getting

    fb:admins and fb:app_id tags are missing. These tags are necessary for Facebook to render a News Feed story that generates a high clickthrough rate.

    Facebook deprecated fb:page_id, it’ll be removed from the next version of WordPress SEO.
