Not sure why, but the WordPress SEO plug-in drops the META description from archive pages that are beyond the initial archive page. I would like for the META description to be provided on every archive page – not just the first one. How do I achieve this?

I’ve been trying to figure out the same thing.

Well, I don’t see any other way to report bugs but in this forum. Hopefully the plugin author will take this issue seriously…

There’s actually a reason behind me not doing this: you’d end up with duplicated meta descriptions across your archives. I’ll see if I can come up with something fancy ??

Thank you for the reply Joost. If you include the “Page [#] of [##]” in the meta description, it isn’t so much duplicate content?

    Dear Joost,

Have you had a chance to “come up with something fancy”?
I would be very interested in tackling this issue.
We feature many “next” pages for category- and author pages, all missing descriptions except the first… (using your amazing WordPress SEO Plugin)

    Thank you in advance,
