[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] meta description not showing

I have installed wp-seo plugin and the meta title, description, keyword tags are working on all posts, but not on my main page. I have no meta description or keyword tag on this page.

Tried to find where to place this, but was unsuccessful. If I hard code it then I will have duplicate meta description and keyword tags.

please help.
