[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] og description meta tag is not pulling in correct content on home p

  • Hi Yoast,

    I have an issue on my home page with the og:description meta tag.

    It is pulling in content from my last post, rather than the home page description in Yoast WordPress SEO: Social settings page. The tag is correctly pulling in the og content on my post pages.

    Excerpt from home page source:
    meta property=’og:description’ content=’When does the need for security become an issue for photographers. In the run up to this years olympics in London we look at the issues surrounding liberty.’

    Frontpage settings in Yoast WordPress SEO: Social settings page:
    Add OpenGraph meta data: Checked/Yes
    Currently connected Facebook admins: Ben Spencer
    Description: “Interesting Everything is a blog come newspaper of our times about anything of interest in the world of nature, science, photography, travel and the arts. We also carry an opinion section that covers any topic you could imagine!”
