[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] post.php 500 error only when WordPress SEO is enabled
-
I’ve tried this a lot of times, but the error is still the same:
– when I open a new article page, I enter the data (including a description in the WP SEO metabox) and then press publish. While the post is introduced in the DB, the confirmation in the admin that the post was published never shows up. Instead I get a blank page with a URL like this:
https://www.domain.com/wp-admin/post.php and the only request in the page is: “1293602878102”,”RESP-START”,”https://www.domain.com/wp-admin/post.php”,”500″,”0″I have been talking about this with the hostgator admins (where my site is hosted) and they either recommend to take out this plugin or change server to a more expensive one. Honestly, neither seems to be a solution.
Finally I learnt that they are killing the processes automatically because they take too many resources.
Any help, any help at all, is appreciated!
