[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Sitemap Error in Google Webmasters

  • Me too. Just click on Save button in plugin sitemap’s setting. I think that the error occurred after upgrading WordPress.
    It’s very annoying that after each change on the site and/or after plugin update there’s something that no longer works in Yoast SEO, like sitemap, permalinks or others things.
    Anyway, clicking on Save fix it.

    Well, that seems odd if that’s the reason. Regardless I saved it again and resubmitted to Google, so shall see if that’s all that’s needed.

    I had the same problem. I clicked save and resubmitted. I think Joost made a fantastic job – I still can’t wrap my mind around that it’s free!
