[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Sitemap not generated

    WordPress version: 3.3.2.
    WordPress SEO version: 1.1.9

    I did this:select xml site map

    I expected the plugin to do this: create map

    Instead it did this: didn′t create map

    Hi. Congratulations for a great plugin. I have used it before with no problems, but in my current project mambrino-crucigramas.com the sitemap_index.xml doesn′t get created. I have the developers version and have tried using default themes and deactivating all plugins but no luck. Permission folders are 775. I submit sitemap_index.xml to google webmaster but also gives error 404. I don′t have any cache plugs. Any help would be great and I am willing to donate if I get it to work with your help.

    Your server is giving a straight 404 for the XML file, which is weird as you’d expect a WordPress 404. Could you share your .htaccess file?

    I don′t have .htaccess file.

    Hmm that’s the problem then right there ??

    You should enable clean permalinks, otherwise the XML sitemap won’t work…

    If I use permalinks my java applets won′t work. I’ll try to find a workaround.

    I managed to get permalinks working with my applets, so I have made a $10 donation, as promised. Keep up the good work!!I hope we get a Spain-Holland final in the Eurocup…
