[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Sitemaps Problem

  • Hello, I am by Louis Trapani. Yoast thank you for this fantastic and unique plugin.

    Since I updated the plugin I have problems with sitemaps.

    when I do: You can find your Sitemap here: “XML Sitemap”

    I upload a blank page and google tells me: “It appears that your sitemap is a HTML page. Sitemap Use a format supported”

    I hope that solves the problem as soon as possible.

  • you might try unchecking ‘Check this box to enable XML sitemap functionality.’ in the XML Sitemaps tab and then hit save. then just check it again and hit save.

    For some reason when this has happened to me in the past, it’s fixed the issue until it crops up again.
