[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Strange Titles?

  • What do you mean with strange and default settings?

    By “default settings,” I mean, “the plugin’s settings that are in place after I click ‘Reset Default Settings'” on the plugin’s main page.

    By “strange,” I mean that my home page title now reads: From Away From Away – Cooking and Eating in Maine, and my post pages now read: From Away [Post Title] – From Away.

    Two suggestions:

    1) What happens when you deactivate the plugin? What’s in your theme template?

    2) Check the ‘Titles & Metas’ section when the plugin is active.
