You can also disable the Yoast’s “Force rewrite titles” under title settings on the Titles & Metas page.

Thanks Lilou (and Yoast). I was getting “This is a Yoast Test Title” in the title of one of my pages but switching my theme back and forth fixed it.

In case it matters to anyone, I noticed that the title was correct when I was logged in to the site. It was only when I was logged out (like a regular visitor) that I saw the wrong title.

If you google the phrase “yoast test title” you’ll see lots and lots and lots of folks are having this issue. Not cool
