[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Titles not working

As I do have only pages in the website, I went to SEO -> Titles and put the following to the Page > Title template. But without quotes!

“%%title%%-“

And it worked nice for me!

Any word on how the WordPress SEO works with an Atahualpa theme installed.
The title code in Atahualpa looks completly different from what is desired in Yoast Seo.
Will simply the feature to tick the box “Force rewrite titles” already do the trick? Or is Atahulapa and Yoast and better to be missed match.

Can anyone help me figure out why my titles aren’t showing up on any page / post. I really need to get this fixed asap. Can’t figure out what’s going on.
