[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Variables (eg %%name%%) in title templates

  • It seems that some variables, such as %%name%%, %%tag%%, %%category%%, … when used in the Title Templates (tab ‘Taxonomies’ and ‘Other’), are not being processed. When navigating to one of my author pages I receive the following title: “%%name%% ? Contributer at Paul Olyslager”. The variable %%sitename%% seems to be working though.

    It used to work before like a charm. I’m not really sure if this happened when I updated to the latest version (Version 1.5.3).
