[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Why I don't use WordPress SEO, plase fix these issues!

if i put a dollar sign in the title for example $250.00 it automatically changes this to $9.99 for any $ value and it changes the permalink. I find this very bad for a really good SEO plugin which i would like to use if this was fixed.
Another Thing to Change
Archives by Date
When you force to change the title there is to %%ThisThing%% for the date of the archive, or if there is someone please tell me. Because on my date archive i want it to say like
Archives for July, 2011 << Akshay Productions
