This should be fixed in 1.2.5

Hi, same here using wordpress seo plugin 1.2.5 we noticed it caused 404 errors on category pages. Aftaer disabling the plugin and and removing our permalink back tod efault it strted working again.

We have now added /%postname%/ back to our permalinks and it is still working but without WordPress SEO. We will use as you suggest Steve allinoneseo plugin until this issue has been resolved.

    Thanks

Hi There, has this been fixed yet?

yep my sites are having the same issues, saying page not found. I unchecked strip the category in the plugin and the category shows up in the domain string and the page is back. not my desired functionality but will wait for the fix. Love the plug in, hope to have the fix soon.

I confirmed I have 1.2.5 and it still shows the not found error. Anyone hear of a fix for this?

I have disabled WordPress seo and have installed a different one called Seo ultimate, it tells you if there are 404 errors with your site. After a couple of days my site started playing up again, I have found by disabling some plugins it is ok, maybe the latest WordPress or our webhosting packages can’t handle too many plugins, so far so good for me on the latest seo plugin

Is this issue resolved? I’m having all sorts of problems with it.

    Not that I know of

no it is not resolved, am waiting for a fix to. couse i am having lots of problems with this beautiful plugin

?? I unchecked the ‘strip category’ option and everything started worked fine again, but I return few hours later and now I am getting 500 server errors for all my category pages!
Edit : Ok, gone back to standard 404’s now ??

@keatsseven: Go to SEO -> Settings page. Don’t change any thing, just re-submit it. it should work. this is fixed issue for me.
