• Dear Joost,

    WordPress version:
    3.4.1
    WordPress SEO version: 1.2.7

I did this: set up focus keyword on pages and enter a title and meta description. I clicked Update page to save the settings.

I expected the plugin to do this:
    Save the settings.

    Instead it did this:

It didn’t save the settings. When the page reloaded the settings were gone. I thought it might have to do with the page cache so I disabled the W3 plugin, but that didn’t solve the issue.

I don’t know why it suddenly started acting like this. It was working normally the past several days.

Hmm my guess would be another plugin got enabled that caused the problem, is that possible?

Maybe, I’ve disabled all the caching functions of the W3 plugins and disabled the plugin altogether. That seems to have fixed it. Have you encoutered this sort of thing with the W3 plugin before?

I did it’s probably related to using APC object caching. Were you using that?

Hi. I’m currently having a similar issue. None of the page settings are saving on a page update. Its going a bit crazy! One moment i’ll have a yellow traffic light, then at the ‘all pages’ view, its red. I go back to the page and the keywords, meta description and the SEO Title are no longer there. Sometimes it looks like it remembers them as the Page Analysis tab tries to work, but results look a bit spurious with things like…
“The keyword density is 0%, which is a bit low, the keyword was found 1108 times.”

Only have one other plug-in, UK Cookie Consent. Tried operating with it disabled. No fix.

Its a simple site with nothing much going on. I’ve deactivated and deleted the seo plugin files and re installed. No fix.

I have it installed on other sites on the same hosting platform and it seems to be fine.

    SEO Version 1.2.8.7
    WP version 3.4.2

    Any ideas?!?!?!?
