On Login Redirect URL should provide option to go to Previous Page

Noticed another related issue with the Redirection scheme. If a non-logged in user clicks to get to the Admin page (https://<whateverurl.com>/wp-admin/&#8221;) then WordPress automatically redirects to the Login page (https://<whateverurl.com>/login/?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2F<whateverurl.com>%wFwp-admin%2F&reauth=1) … then after the user logs-in successfully he’s taken to the Admin dashboard (instead of previous-page) …. this is also broken if using the Social Login buttons as there is only one redirection option.

Not to dredge up and old topic, but did you ever find a way to make this work, or possibly a workaround?
