• hi,

Just started using the Salesforce plug-in – we have a little blurb on the page with our form “Thanks for your interest in ….”

when somebody fills out the form and hits submit, that same little blurb shows up on the confirmation page along with the confirmation message itself. It’s obviously a little confusing, since it says “thanks for your interest in…. ” as well as “thanks for contacting us, we’ll be in touch shortly”.

How can I get the thank you page to be just the follow up message and not the initial message? Thanks in advance

  • I have been looking at the plugin code, it only replaces the form fields with the success message. Anything else on the page will stay the same.

Are you using the short code [salesforce] or the widget?

You would have to understand php to modify the plugin to do what you want

    We’re using the short code.

So, you’re saying I should not have any text at all on my page? I find it hard to believe that nobody has ever asked for this before – that they don’t want any text to precede the form that says something like “thanks for your interest, please fill out the form below… ???

    Thanks.

    Hi scobar,

I have content on the rest of my page (https://glideint.com/free-proposal/)

I allow the success message to be displayed. then I use javascript to redirect back to my home page. The deal with this plugin this that it uses php and only php. The page doesn’t refresh, just the form section.

If you want I can walk you thru modifying the plugin to use javascript to redirect to another page with or without outputting the success message.

This is not the best plugin in the world, not customizable
