• The latest upgrade of WordPress seems to have broken this plugin. I now get the error message:

Your WordPress.com account, dragondreamz is not authorized to view the stats of this blog.

    when trying to view stats.

DragonDreamz: please specify the version of the plugin and your blog URL. Nothing can be done without at least your blog URL. If you prefer not to post it here, please contact wordpress.com support.

    Thanks for responding, Andy.

This is in reference to the most recent version of the plugin (1.81) and

I found quite a few others posting the same problem, and discovered a number of people saying that by installing “Jetpack”, their stats were restored. Installing Jetpack appears to have automatically deactivated the stand-alone WordPress.com Stats plugin and the stats do work once Jetpack is installed. I don’t really need the additional features of Jetpack, so it’s a bit of an extreme “fix”, but at least I have my stats back.

Andy:, any reason wordpress.com stats plugin did not record accurate traffic for the past few days? I am aware that there have been a few bugs and fixes lately, we average 1500 + daily visitors and 04-09 to 04-12 have recorded 1-7 visits.

thx for all you contribute to WP!

askjayson: Looks like you fixed it yesterday.

Yes, thanks Andy, there was a conflict with the wordpress.com account that was registered with the plugin, thanks for your reply!
