• Hi Tommy,
First off, good stuff! Thank you for your work. You are one of very few attempting to address the problem of keeping up with a lot of social media channels from one outpost (and the only one I’ve found to work well in a self-hosted WP site).

I’m having a few problems with the WSO integration into Press-This (it throws errors about 50% of the time, even though it posts correctly), but that’s not what I’m trying to fix right now. Currently I’m having a problem with the selected shortener for Twitter. Even though I have selected bit.ly as my shortener and saved it in Settings, it continues to shorten using wso.li on my Twitter account (my caching is off, btw). I see you were addressing this issue in Changelog 0.5.3, but unfortunately, it’s still not working for me. This happens when using WSO through Press-This or via the regular post publishing page. Any ideas? Thanks!

Actually, when you selected an other shortener, it goes back to wso.li only if the selected fails. So maybe there are something wrong. But before to take some time to find the bug, I just have a question for you :

Do you use the initial bit.ly (which uses my initial account, so https://w.wso.li), or the bit.ly with your login/key ?

Maybe you use the first one and didn’t notice the difference ? w.wso.li versus wso.li ? ??

    w.wso.li : it’s my bit.ly account
    wso.li : it’s my yourls configuration

ps: I will fix Press This now I know a few people uses it ??

Well, actually I have set and reset it several times, so I’ve used both (my own bit.ly account with an API key), and (accidentally, when I forgot to enter my info) the standard (yours)! Both of them seem to default to the respective wso shortener (w.wso.li and wso.li). So I guess that means it’s failing in either instance (selecting “bit.ly” and “Your own bit.ly configuration”), correct? In any case, thanks for looking into this so quickly! You’re creating a fan. ?? P.S. -> I’m at @chasbeebe on Twitter if you want to see the links.
