[Plugin: WP-Activity] Published date incorrect

Whenever I post a new post the time stamp is correct in the admin area but all of the other time stamps are -8 hours from my wordpress time. My wordpress time is -8 UTC offset which might be a correlation. I know that might sound confusing so here is an example. UTC time is 17:05 my wordpress and the time stamp for posts is 9:05 and all other activities log as 1:05.

When the activity steam is posted on the front end the “time ago” line is accurate for all activities except posts. I’m assuming the time ago aspect draws from the same “now” time as every activity but posts.
