[Plugin: WP Admin Custom Page] A little bit of praise, and a few suggestions:

  • First let me start by congratulate Thunderbax for his innovative plugin “Admin custom page”. It really helps expanding the admin backend a lot.

    It is a good plugin, but it needs improvements the way I see it:

    It is good that one can create a custom page, but it would be lightyears better if one could create more pages as one need ’em. It would also be really good if one could use the WYSIWYG editor instead of using html to build the pages.

    Apart from these suggestions I’m pleased with the plugin.

    This plugin has a lot of potential. After a quick test, we can safely say that we’ll be keeping an eye out for updates, especially in the following areas:

    1) WYSIWYG editor with Visual / HTML modes
    2) Ability to display as widget on Dashboard or as default Dashboard upon user login
    3) Ability to display based on user role(s) (Subscriber, Contributor, etc.)

    Thank’s guys for your suggestions. Sorry for the delay in development but in these days I restart to work on it.
    In latest version I implemented WYSIWYG editor and in future versions I will try to make the plugin more flexible.
