[Plugin: WP Ajax Edit Comments] Ajax Edit Comments Quit Working with 2.6 Upgrade

Even with 2.2.2.0, it’s still not working on my blog… :’-(

Same as before: when I am logged in, I can see the icons.
But no countdown or anything when I make a comment on a post.

It doesn’t work if a comment is held for moderation (which is on purpose). If the comment is automatically approved, it works like a charm. Thanks!

When I press “Delink” within the comments admin panel, I get a blank page and nothing happens.

I’m sticking with 2.2.1.1. Admin delete from the post comment gave me a blank redirect with 2.2.2.4.

I’ve done everything I can think of to resolve the JS issues with Ajax Edit Comments 2.x.

If you are still experiencing issues, I’d like to troubleshoot on an individual basis. The only way I can do this is to troubleshoot using your environment, meaning at a minimum I would need author privs on your blog.

I’ve found a fix. I’ll be releasing another release hopefully tomorrow.

Greeting! On my blog 2.2.6 does not work on WP 2.6.3 at all. I am also using MCE Comments too, but disabling it does not fix it. Thanks for all your work! I’d be willing to help troubleshoot.

any news on that fix for the compatibility with WP 2.6 ?
from my experience I cannot get the timer to work, cannot display the icons, I have to turn them off to get the edit option to display, the edit panel is opening in full screen and the close cross icon is not working, but hitting back and refreshing the page show that edited comments are updating

If you need access to my admin to get a deeper look I would be fine with that.

Well I’ve read the entire thread here and I must say that I am very impressed with ronafly (the developer). You must have the patience of a saint. Unfortunately, I have to add my name to the growing list of folks who are having trouble. Word 2.6.3 seems to have caused your program to stay locked in a “loading” mode when attempting to edit a comment. I don’t want to pile on as you’ve clearly got a grasp of the problem with so many others having the same problem. If there is something I can send you that would help you then please let me know. It’s not critical that I have this feature and I’m sure you will get it resolved at some point. You might even want to wait until 2.7 releases which should be very soon. Again, thanks for your efforts and don’t get discouraged. ??
