[Plugin: WP Ajax Edit Comments] Non-Ajax Version of Edit Comments?

  • Hello all,

    I was wondering if the developer or any other WP users out there were creating a plugin similar to Edit Comments XT in the sense that it allows visitors to edit their comments without the heavy Javascripts. Let me know!

    It’s very unlikely the AEC devs will make a non-AJAX version. It’ll be simply too clunky to have to do a page refresh for the many AEC functions.

    As far as heavy JavaScripts, we could always investigate compressing the original JS, but that usually causes more problems than it solves.

    We recently released a version that significantly reduces the DB footprint, so we’re trying.

    Thanks for the reply! I’ll be sure to experiment around with compressing/combining the JS.
